Barbell Apps LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information our apps collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using any Barbell Apps application, you agree to the practices described here.

The information we collect depends on which app you use and how you use it. In general, we aim to collect as little data as possible.
- Information you provide directly: If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
- Images and media: Some apps (such as Rock Classifier) process and save photos you choose to submit.
- Usage data: We may collect data about how you interact with our apps - such as which features you use, how often you use them, and session information. This may be associated with your device or a generated identifier.
- Device information: We may receive basic device and operating system information provided by the platform (iOS/Android) for the purpose of crash reporting and compatibility.
What we do not collect: We do not collect your physical address, financial information, or precise location.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve our apps and services
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Diagnose technical problems and fix bugs
- Understand how our apps are used so we can make them better
3. Third-Party Services

- Apple App Store / Google Play: App distribution is handled by Apple and Google. Their privacy policies govern data collected through those platforms.
- Machine learning APIs: Some apps send image data to third-party APIs (such as Google Cloud Vision or similar) to perform on-device or server-side classification. Please refer to the relevant provider's privacy policy for details.
- Crash reporting: We may use a crash analytics service to help us identify and fix bugs. These services receive anonymized technical information.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or business purposes.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:
- Support emails are retained for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
- Usage analytics may be retained for as long as needed to support product improvements.

5. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will promptly delete that information. This policy is consistent with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
